CHAIRMAN’S REPORT
FOR THE YEAR 2011/12

The Chairman briefly outlined the past year in his role as caretaker of the Chair as there had been no other nominations at the 2011 AGM. There had been fewer events and it was noted that the Remembrance Day service had also passed without the usual service. However it was widely felt that the 10th Twinning Anniversary linked with the ex-internees Liberation Day on 28 April had been a huge success and very well attended. It was further noted that the environmental trip to Bad Wurzach planned for 14-18 June had to be cancelled due to a lack of numbers.
