2024-Remembrance Howard Davis Park

We had about 20 people attend including 4 ex deportees – David Drage, Lola Garvin, Roy Newton and Ursula Dingle
Our theme of readings this year was on the subject of Peace and Reconciliation, Father Nick Barry Rector of St Luke’s church led the prayers and Andrew Thomson played the Last Post for our 2 minutes’ silence. Roy Newton laid the wreath on our behalf . We then went to the Omarroo Hotel for an afternoon tea very well served by their staff and the kind attentions of the manager Norbert Stump.
